Male Breast Reduction

Male breast reduction is performed to treat men with gynecomastia. Gynecomastia is the condition resulting in over development of the male breast. The procedure removes fat and breast tissue from the breasts resulting in a chest that is flatter and firmer. The surgery is performed with a combination of liposuction and excision of the excess tissue.

The procedure is done under sedation or general anesthesia and takes 1-2 hours. 2-3 weeks of light activity are required for recovery. Normal daily activity can be resumed within the first week.
